We use our hands all day, every day, always. They are subjected to heavy loads, hard treatment and wear. This applies, for example, when we work in front of the computer, clean and wash our hands.
This means that our skin on the hands is constantly under strain, which is why many experience problems with dry, chapped skin.
This is partly because the skin on your hands is delicate. It is thin and has a low fat glands and a high content of sweat glands. This makes the skin on our hands more easily weaken and look wrinkled — and that includes … that many simply forget to care for his hands.
But the big question is; how do you get to death the dry, chapped skin and achieve soft hands?
In all its simplicity (it’s actually simpler than many people think…) it’s about preventing, caring for and looking after the skin on your hands — which is why we’ve compiled three tips (+ two bonus tips) on how to achieve soft hands.

1 Wash your hands gently
Use a gentle and gentle soapwhen you wash your hands. When your hands are clean, it is important that you dry them in a soft material. It can be either soft paper or in a soft towel.
2 Remove the dead skin cells
Once you have washed your hands with a good and non-drying hand soap, use a bodyscrub to remove dead skin cells and boost blood circulation. Then massage the scrubbone into circular movements for 5-7 minutes, then rinse off with lukewarm water.
Many people find it difficult to add the necessary moisture to your hands. This may be because your skin has a small layer of dead skin cells — and then when you remove them, the skin will again be able to absorb nutrients from a hand cream.
And speaking of hand cream. After removing the dead skin cells, you need to provide moisture and protection to the skin.
3 Use a good hand cream
… that provide the skin with the necessary moisture and protection. But it should also help maintain the skin’s natural moisture balance.
Our Raunsborg® Hand Cream 100ml and 200 ml is a nutritious and moisturizing hand cream with a fresh scent of birch. It penetrates quickly — even faster when the dead skin cells are gone — without appearing greasy. It contains linden, vegetable squalane and cucumber.
4. Bonus tips
Dry and chapped hands are often worst during the winter months. When you are outside in the cold, wear gloves and you reduce the chance of getting winter hands.
The same applies when cleaning. Wear rubber gloves to avoid direct contact with cleaners.
Plej your skin. It must last a lifetime — this also applies to the skin on your hands.
And just the last, extra tip; Always carry a Raunsborg Hand Cream in your bag and you can lubricate your hands when they penetrate.
